Chief Medical Officer

Providing corporate medical direction to the Livanta staff, Dr. Evans oversees clinical aspects of business development, company outreach, healthcare quality initiatives, and contract innovations. Her strong clinical and contracting experience supports Livanta’s contracting excellence; quality accuracy and precision; healthcare awareness and innovation; and program and project development, implementation, oversight, and quality outcomes.

Dr. Evans has more than 30 years of active clinical practice experience across all areas of geriatric and primary care medicine. She has provided family practice services, inpatient and outpatient teaching and clinical care, geriatric consultative services medical direction and clinical care, skilled nursing facility medical direction and care provision, homeless youth health medical direction, and rural emergency department physician coverage. Dr. Evans was an assistant professor at Creighton University School of Medicine in Nebraska. She served as president of the Nebraska Medical Directors Association and Membership Committee Chairman for the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA). A graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, Dr. Evans completed the IHI Family Practice Residency, ECU mini-fellowship, and NIA Summer Aging Institute to become a Board-Certified Family Physician with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Evans is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians (ABQAURP).
