Livanta LLC respects your right to privacy and has developed this Privacy Statement so that you know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose that personal information.

This privacy statement applies to personal information we collect about you on the Livanta LLC website located at www.livanta.com (the “Site”) and describes the types of information collected, how that information is used, and the choices users have about collection and use of this information. This privacy statement does not govern privacy practices associated with offline activities, websites other than this Site, mobile applications, software applications, or other products and services not available or enabled via this Site, except as expressly set forth in this Privacy Statement. GENERAL POLICY: Livanta does not access or use your personal information for any purpose other than to provide the functionality described in the Site or as described herein. Livanta does not disclose or further transfer your personal information other than (a) at your direction when (and if) you decide to share your personal information with another person; (b) to the extent described herein; and (c) to comply with law, such as a subpoena, or in the event that Livanta’s business is transferred to a successor through a merger, sale, or other similar sale of business transaction (a “Change of Control”). In the event of a Change of Control, you consent to Livanta transferring your personal information to the acquiror/transferee or successor, provided such party complies with this privacy statement.

Collection of Personal Information

Voluntarily provided information.

Although much of the Site is available without registering or providing personal information, in order to take advantage of some of our Site’s features, you will be asked to provide certain personal information such as your email address, phone number(s), physical mail addresses and other similar types of information. This personal information is provided voluntarily by you in a web form, via online chat, message or when you email us and includes but is not limited to personal information collected when you:

  • Submit an online inquiry
  • Sign up for email alerts, newsletters, and other Livanta LLC information
  • Submit an employment application

You are not required to provide us with this personal information, however failure to do so in some cases will limit the services or Site functions available to you.

Automated Data Collection.

The Site uses cookie technology which stores small files on your computer, to assist with session management, preserving your login context, and keeping track of such actions while on the Site such as referring source, domain name, internet protocol address, the type of web browser, and other data that is automatically transferred between computers in a typical internet session (“Automatically Collected Data”). Automatically Collected Data is used by Livanta only for its internal purposes but is subject to disclosure to the extent required by applicable law, or in a Change of Control. You also have choices with respect to limiting some Automatically Collected Data. For example, by modifying your browser preferences, or the settings on your electronic device that you use to access the Site, you may set an option to accept or reject cookies or to be notified when a cookie is set. Some of these setting may interfere with, or prevent the operation of the Site. Accepting a cookie in no way gives Livanta access to your computer or any personal information about you, other than the data stored in the cookies.

As part of its Automatically Collected Data, the Site currently uses Google Analytics to track certain automated data created by your use of the Site, and uses Google Fonts. Those two services store cookies on your computer (see discussion below regarding cookies).

Anonymized/aggregated data.

If the Site de-identifies any data or information (including any personal information), or the information is itself already anonymous (i.e. most Automatically Collected Data), such that such data does not link to or identify you, then such data is anonymous data, and the Site owns this anonymous data and the Site may use such data for any purpose and disclose such data to any third-party and the Site has no duty to you in respect of such anonymous data, except solely to the extent provided under law applicable to the Site.

Data location.

All personal information and Automatically Collected Data is stored in the United States, and United States laws may be different than the laws of your country of residence. You consent to our storage in the United States of any data or personal information you send us.

How We Use and Share the Information Collected

Livanta LLC does not share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties (except to the extent any personal information is available to the third party vendors identified above under “Automated Data Collection”), but we may use your information to, among other things:

  • Provide newsletters and information about Livanta LLC
  • Provide the information or service requested or otherwise respond to your inquiries
  • Improve the content, navigation, and efficiency of the Site
  • Make you aware of other benefits, products, services, or events offered by Livanta LLC that may interest you
  • Enforce the Livanta LLC Terms of Use and otherwise prevent illegal or improper activity related to the Site

Resume collection

The Livanta Site allows visitors to submit their resumes to our company via email or online through our Careers site. Resumes received via either method will be held in confidence and used only for the purpose of considering the submitting party for employment.

In all cases, we collect such information only as necessary or appropriate to fulfill the specific request or complete the action initiated by the visitor. Livanta LLC does not disclose personal information other than as described herein. All information provided to us through these communication methods is used to respond to the request. We may store your personal information. Except as disclosed herein (or at the time of submission of any manually collected personal information), none of this information is disseminated to any third parties. You can correct any of this information, or request that we remove this information from our records, at any time by writing to us at the address below.

Online Identification Technologies

We may utilize online identification technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, or pixels in connection with the Site. Online identification technologies can be used to store registration information in an area of our site so that a user does not need to re-enter it on subsequent visits to that area, or other Site related analytical information such as pages visited, page traversal, time on page and other data that is generated by use of the Site. It is Livanta LLC’s intention to use these technologies to make navigation of our Site easier for visitors, to facilitate efficient registration procedures (including remembering preferences), and to deliver tailored content to visitors.

Livanta LLC may utilize online identification technologies from marketing partners on our sites, third party sites, and social media platforms. We use this technology to, in part, compile aggregated statistics about visitors who interact with Livanta LLC online content and to provide more pertinent information to our visitors.

Livanta LLC also uses site analytics providers which may set cookies in your browser. For example, we partner with Google Analytics, which uses Cookies to track your interactions with our Site. If you are concerned about cookies, you may refuse or delete one or more cookies and still access our Site functionality may be impaired. After you finish browsing our Site you may delete cookies from your system if you wish.

In order to properly manage our Site, we also anonymously log information on our operational systems and identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types. These statistics are reported in the aggregate to our service providers who help us provide the Site.

Links to other sites and third parties

Our Site may contain links to other sites. Links do not imply endorsement by Livanta.com. Please be aware that these other sites are not subject to the Livanta LLC privacy statement and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Security

Livanta LLC uses various technological and procedural security measures in order to protect the personal information we collect through the Site from loss, misuse, alteration, or destruction. However, you should be aware that, due to the open and unsecured character of the internet, Livanta LLC cannot be responsible for the security of transmissions of personal information over the internet. Please do not submit any sensitive or confidential information to Livanta (including by way of example, financial account information, social security number, protected health information), whether through the Site, or via email or other communication.
