LIVANTA INNOVATION CLOUD

The Livanta Innovation Cloud (LIC) is a web-based platform as a service (PaaS) offering that provides ultra-fast application development hosting. The LIC consists of three layers: security, common services, and customer “pods.” The security layer includes web and application firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention services, antivirus, Windows updates, active directory, management, and monitoring services. The common services layer includes physical storage, email, DNS, time server, logging, and backups. Both the security layer and the common services layer are hosted and managed in a centralized environment common to all customer pods. Each customer gets a dedicated pod, which is a collection of servers configured on a separate network.

The LIC is designed with scalability and durability in mind and is cloud-based, so the long-term operating cost is lower than that of a system with physical hardware. In addition, the LIC design assumes redundancy by design, dramatically reducing the likelihood of system downtime.

ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION

Livanta’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology consists of application “robots” that automate specific tasks that would normally require manual interaction with web-based applications. Livanta’s RPA applications integrate directly with a web browser and add functionality to existing web-based applications to automate repetitive tasks as well as provide additional custom functionality that is not currently present in the web application.
